What is The HUB?

Today, the life of a student can be stressful and exhausting. The HUB is a fun, safe and supportive place where students can RE:Fuel, RE:Fresh and RE:Focus. Through Bible study, fellowship, service to others and pizza, HUB students learn how to both talk about AND demonstrate the love of Christ. At the HUB, we simply want to be ready and available when God calls, so that we can say, "Here I am. Send me!"

Come join us Wednesdays at 5:30 and Sundays at 9:15.

Our SMBS classes meet together for announcements, a brief lesson introduction and prayer time, then divide into multiple smaller groups in order to discuss the topics in more depth. Come join us each Sunday morning at 9:15.

Wednesday Nights...

At The HUB, we spend a ton of time in service to others as we try to live out our core purpose, found in Isaiah 6:8 "Here I am, send me."  For this reason, our Wednesday nights are geared toward The HUB motto,  RE:Fuel, RE:Fresh, and RE:Focus. Through Bible study, prayer, worship, fellowship, fun, ping-pong and pizza, we strive to do just that. Dinner is served at 5:30 and our services begin at 6:00. There is something for everyone at The HUB.

Send me

SEND ME is what we call our missions program at The HUB.

As part of our local missions focus, we have an ongoing relationship with St. Paul Children's Foundation, serving families right here in Tyler through their summer feeding program, Secret Santa Workshop and various other times as needed.

Through our Texas missions experience we have served the homeless population of Galveston with Galveston Street Ministries,  worked with Texas Baptist Men rebuilding the homes of flood displaced families in South Texas, and helped Remedy Church of Waxahachie spread The Gospel to their community.

Beyond the borders of our state, we have and are working with Pathway Church of Gresham, OR (Portland) to help launch new campuses and reach out to one of the most unchurched metropolitan areas of the United States.

Our most recent partnership, with Kenyan Girls Ministry, now offers a way for our students to be exposed to the foreign mission field.

At The HUB, we simply want to be ready when God calls, so that we can respond with, "Here I am. Send me!"

COME BE A PART OF CHANGING LIVES...maybe even your own!

youth camp

Falls Creek 2017 was even more special as the camp celebrated its 100 year anniversary.

The theme for this year was "Remnant." God has always maintained a people who are His own. Jesus said in Matthew 7:14, "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." Those who follow Him may be few, but they are His, and He will preserve them. The theme verse for the summer was Psalm 33:12, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance."

Several students gave their lives to The LORD, while others were impacted in different ways. We all returned home with a renewed energy for serving God and spreading His Gospel.

super summer

Super Summer is not an ordinary summer youth camp. Super Summer is a training and learning experience designed specifically for students who have already committed their lives to Christ and are looking for fresh ways to develop their fullest potential as Christian leaders. Super Summer has proven to be an extraordinary experience for numerous HUB students.

Super Summer 2017 was just as powerful as those in the past, as students learned more about how to "KNOW AND SHARE THE GOSPEL".
